Is this the XPR1 or XDPR2 remote?
This product is the original XPR1 remote control. It is not the newer XDPR2 or SXIR2 universal remote.
Does the XPR1 require programming?
No. Install a compatible CR2032 battery, point the remote toward the receiver’s infrared sensor, and press the desired control.
What battery does the XPR1 use?
The XPR1 uses one CR2032 3-volt coin-cell battery.
Will the XPR1 work with the Pioneer XMp3?
Yes. The XPR1 was originally supplied as the remote control for the Pioneer XMp3 receiver.
Will every button work with every receiver?
No. The available functions depend on the receiver’s hardware and firmware. Recording, replay, information, display, and other advanced controls may not be supported by every radio.
Will it control a powered speaker dock or boombox?
The XPR1 controls a compatible receiver directly. It is not a replacement for a speaker-dock-specific remote and may not control the dock’s power or speaker volume.
