The CNP-1 Connect and Play has been designed to work with the XM Radio Connect and Play antenna to extend the antenna cable to desired lengths. Below is an outline of how to build the extension kit using the CNP-1. We have also put together a package that includes all of the needed parts to extend the XM Connect and Play antenna including the CNP-1. Click here to view that package. How to Build the Connect & Play Kit: 1. From the Connect & Play Antenna - Connect the XM Radio Connect & Play Antenna to the back of the receiver. 2. Attach the CNP Coupler - Attach the CNP coupler to the top of the XM Radio Connect & Play antenna with the supplied sticky adhesive. 3. Connect RG-6 cable to Power inserter - The cable from the XM Radio CNP coupler should be roughly 25 feet in length. It is highly recommended to use new RG-6 cable (not RG-59). If you need pre-made RG-6 cable please call our offices and speak with a sales representative. 4. Connect Power Inserter - The power inserter uses RG-6 cable for both the connections to the amplifiers, coupler and also to the power inserter wall cube. 5, Connect Amplifiers - Connect two SBA-1 in-line amplifiers together to XM Radio antenna with RG-6 to SMB connector.
